Postdocs
We currently have open positions for postdocs. Candidates with background in developmental biology, cell biology, molecular neuroscience or related field are encouraged to apply.
Work in the lab is funded by core funding, ERC Consolidator and SFB grants. Current research directions include, but are not limited to: cellular and molecular mechanisms of morphogen signaling interpretation in neural tube growth, mechanisms of restorative growth, regulation of size and function of the roof plate, a key organising center in the dorsal neural tube. We work with embryonic stem cells and organoids, as well as mouse and chick embryos, and use a diverse range of approaches, including live imaging, genomic approaches, and biophysical modelling. Our lab is embedded in a vibrant interdisciplinary and international environment ideal for professional growth.
Applicants should send their motivation letter, CV, publication list and contact details of 3 referees to anna.kicheva@ist.ac.at.
